This cake was for a friend's baby shower. The top layer was chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and the bottom was french vanilla with buttercream frosting. Both layers were covered with pink fondant.

So we missed you at Michelles...it got me thinking of cakes for James birthday....Im going to throw out some ideas to you cuz I want you to do his!!

I attempted using fondant for Alex's (my little girl) first birthday, and while my attempt didn't end in utter failure it surely didn't look as beautiful as these. Plus I have a very small idea of the effort involved in something like this. So great work! I hope you get lots of business because you've got some serious talent. Hope all is well in Chicago.
