Sports and 16 Themed Birthday Cake

It's been awhile since I've done any cakes! :)  I had a request for 16 year old birthday cakes for a twin boy and girl.  Here's the boy cake.  It was chocolate chip cake with chocolate chip cookie dough frosting.

Wedding Shell Cake

This seaside glamour cake was covered in fondant and accented with white chocolate shells.  Flavors included coconut with coconut cream cheese frosting, lemon with lemon buttercream, and chocolate with raspberry cream cheese frosting.

Superhero Cake

This superhero cake was made for a surprise double 40th birthday party!  It was based off a cake found on pinterest.  Flavors included chocolate, vanilla with blueberry lemon buttercream, and chocolate with chocolate buttercream and fresh straweberries.

Funky Paint Splatter Cake

I made this cake for a church fundraiser.  Such a fun cake!  It was chocolate cake with cookies and cream frosting.

Blue and Brown Polka Dot Cake

This sweet and simple blue, brown and polka dot cake was for a boy baby shower.  Two of the tiers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting, one of my new favorites, and the other tier was vanilla with raspberry cream cheese frosting.  

Baby Blue and Chocolate Dots

This cake was for a baby shower. The top layer was white cake with lemon curd, and lemon buttercream, and the bottom layer was chocolate with chocolate buttercream. All topped off with a big chocolate bow! :) Again, not the best picture - I was in a hurry.

Modern Blue and Brown

This blue and brown cake was for a baby shower. I love the satin finish of the chocolate fondant!

Experimenting

This cake was for my daughter's birthday. It's frosted in buttercream, and the flowers are made from royal icing!
