Purple Zebra and Feathers Cake

This was such a fun cake modeled after this cake!  It was for a 15 year old birthday party.  I LOVE the feathers.  Flavors included chocolate chip cake with cookie dough frosting, chocolate cake with cookies and cream cream cheese frosting, and chocolate cake with a whipped ganache.  Yum!

This cake was for an engagement party.  The top two tiers were chocolate with whipped ganache, and the bottom tier was vanilla with buttercream and fresh strawberries. I had a lot of fun with this cake. :)

Modern Pink and Silver Bridal Shower Cake

This cake was for a bridal shower.  It was chocolate with chocolate buttercream and raspberry cream cheese filling.  Sorry my photo is a little crooked. ;)

Paris Cake

This cake was for a French themed bridal shower. The Eiffel Tower was hand painted on gumpaste - going for a water colored look. Flavors included vanilla with buttercream, and vanilla with rapsberry cream cheese frosting.

Christmas Whimsy Cake

I was asked to make a cake to go along with a Dr. Seuss, Grinch theme. This is what I came up with. The inside was chocolate with chocolate frosting. I was so excited to use my new cake stand!!!

Orange and Yellow Wedding Cake

I finished this orange and yellow cake for a wedding open house this weekend. The couple did a great job choosing the design. Flavors included strawberry cake with buttercream and strawberry preserve filling, yellow cake with lemon buttercream and lemon curd filling, and yellow cake with chocolate buttercream. I was very pleased with the result!

Baby Blue and Chocolate Dots

This cake was for a baby shower. The top layer was white cake with lemon curd, and lemon buttercream, and the bottom layer was chocolate with chocolate buttercream. All topped off with a big chocolate bow! :) Again, not the best picture - I was in a hurry.

Bright Stripes

I made this cake for a bake sale this weekend! My inspiration came from some darling fabric I found at Hobby Lobby! :) The top layer is white cake with buttercream, the bottom layer is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream.

50th Birthday

This cake was for a 50th birthday party! The inside was chocolate with chocolate frosting. It was covered with white, and chocolate fondant. It's not the best photo. I'm adjusting to a new kitchen and lighting! :)

Modern Blue and Brown

This blue and brown cake was for a baby shower. I love the satin finish of the chocolate fondant!

Green and Purple

This sweet cake was for another bridal shower. The bride's colors were lime green and purple. I loved the flowers on this cake.
