With Halloween in the air, it was fun to make this cute Frankenstein cake!  He was chocolate with chocolate buttercream.

Welcome Home Cake

This small 6 inch cake was for a returning missionary.  It was chocolate with chocolate buttercream.

Modern Pink and Silver Bridal Shower Cake

This cake was for a bridal shower.  It was chocolate with chocolate buttercream and raspberry cream cheese filling.  Sorry my photo is a little crooked. ;)

Black, Red and White

This cake was for a surprise 60th birthday! The entire cake was chocolate with chocolate buttercream and fresh strawberries.

Swirls Wedding Cake and A Helper!

This buttercream wedding cake included three tiers. Two vanilla with buttercream, with the middle tier chocolate with chocolate buttercream. Each tier was decorated with piped swirls in three different colors. I don't usually do just buttercream cakes, so this was a fun change of pace. I was pleased with the result.

My cute daughter is always so patient as I decorate cakes. This time I made her a small cake to decorate for herself. She made piles and piles of frosting on top! Mmmm! I think we have a future sugar artist on our hands. :)

Paris Cake

This cake was for a French themed bridal shower. The Eiffel Tower was hand painted on gumpaste - going for a water colored look. Flavors included vanilla with buttercream, and vanilla with rapsberry cream cheese frosting.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

I saw this idea right after my oldest turned 1, and I knew it would be my next child's first birthday cake. Well, the day came, and here it is - The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Happy Birthday to my baby!
